The Witch

You arrive at the edge of a forest — alone, uncertain, and strangely drawn to the figure who lives among the trees.

The Witch is a short narrative-driven exploration game focused on atmosphere, minimal interaction, and emotional storytelling. Developed as a student project, it invites players into a poetic space where silence, subtlety, and symbolism play a central role.

Project Background

This game was created within the framework of Game Design Course, as a personal exploration of feminine archetypes, solitude, and the unseen emotional landscapes we carry. It’s a quiet game — meant to be experienced slowly, like a memory.

Recommended for players who:

  • Enjoy experimental or student-made games

  • Appreciate atmosphere over mechanics

  • Are drawn to mysterious characters, introspective tone, and ambiguous endings
